22April2025 Mother Earth Day "Our Power, Our Planet": Express your gratitude to Mother Nature and seek her blessings by riding a Solar Assist Bicycle!
While pulling the spring loaded pannier rack handle, gently place the solar panel vertically over the rack with the front side facing the bottom.
Gently release the spring loaded rack handle so that it rests over the front / top 6 mm diameter rod.
Gently rotate the solar panel so that it lays flat over the pannier rack with the two grommets resting on either longitudinal member of the rack. Rotate the solar panel further by applying pressure on the back / rear side of the solar panel so that its front / top end lifts up against the pressure of the spring loaded rack handle.
Insert either end of the Bowden cable through the end hooks of the cycle stand springs placed on either end of the rear wheel axle. Let the Bowden cable terminal nipple on one end and the regulator clamp bolt at the other end firmly lock within the end hooks of the two springs. Gently release the pressure applied on the back rear side of the solar panel such that the bowden twisted steel cable becomes taut and firm under the pressure balanced between the rack spring and the cycle stand spring.
Note: Follow reverse sequence for un-mounting the solar panel from the pannier rack.
